Dickey Betts (born as 'Forrest Richard Betts ') died Thursday, April 18th, at age 80. He was a founding member, guitarist (first co-guitarist witrh Duane Allman, then after Allman's death on Oct 29th, 1971, the sole guitarist through 1975) and frequent songwriter (sometimes co-writer with Greg Allman).
