The NEXT set is picked by faithful listener "Harold":
* - Although Berry wrote/ recorded the original version (March 1957/ Flair Records), the version that Pacific Northwest groups such as The Kingmen , Sonics and Paul Revere & The Raiders played was based on Rockin' Robin Roberts single (backed by The Wailers, uncredited, even though it was on their own label ... ), from May of 1961.
* - A former member of The (PNW) Wailers // The band was after the famous Seattle landmark bridge extending across Lake Washington. // Click on Link above, left, to view the original single.

Picked up by Dot Records for national release, Aug 1966 / * - WARNING - sound quality is BAD {as with many Moxie pressings - thank Dave Gibson and his home-made record pressings for that; yes, you read that right, he pressed up his own records, see Link at right}; it IS the first appearance on an LP, though / Click on the Link above, to see the original local single
* - They evolved from the group 'Rocky & His Friends' {I think they've been played on WMBR before? :))))))) - LsA} / Click on the Link above, left to view the original single.
USELESS fact - even though this record was that of an obscure group on a regional label, this was _also_ released in Australia. Click on the Link above, left to view the original single.
Elvis Presley was a huge fan, and commanded his own table at the casino where Yuro headlined in the late 1960s. (Presley had a 1976 hit with his version of her hit "Hurt".) Her career declined by the late 1960s, and she quit the Music Biz altogether after her 1969 marriage Click on Link above, left, to view the original single.
