In celebration of their tour with Liz Phair, Speedy Ortiz has covered "Blood Keeper," a Scream 2 soundtrack outtake, written by Phair. The pay-what-you-want Bandcamp proceeds will fund providing each venue on the tour with copies of Shawn Potter's (War On Women) pocket guide, "Making Spaces Safer."

This album is a concept album, each song a response from the perspective of a female character to a popular song written about that character. "I was sitting in a hotel room in Spearfish, SD learning to play a Townes Van Zandt tune called "Loretta," and as I was singing the words, I started to get angry," says Esme Patterson on the inspiration behind her new album 'Woman to Woman.' "I started thinking about how one-sided and subjective a lot of 'love songs' are, and how a lot of women immortalized in songs might tell a different side of the story if anyone ever asked."
