Songs Inspired By the Movies (Part 1): Fantasy/Horror/Sci-Fi You're bored in the evening and there's nothing on the screen but a stupid horror/sci-fi B-movie ("It Conquered the World," maybe?). So maybe you go out and catch a fantastical art house film like Bergman's "The Seventh Seal" instead. Either/or could be the inspiration for a song. And all too often a hit comes out of it. Witness this show. We succumb to the obvious.
