A Rebroadcast of the Wayne Kramer (MC5) Interview Show From 9/11/2018 Wayne Kramer was the co-founder, guitarist and sometimes vocalist of MC5 (Motor City 5), a heavy "proto-punk" garage band out of Detroit. They influenced untold bands unto the present day, despite only releasing three albums from 1969-1972. Their politics were radical, and their music reflected that. Wayne passed from pancreatic cancer at age 75 on February 2nd. Four days later we pay tribute to him with a rebroadcast of the interview show originally aired on 9/11/2018, when he was touring with a rejiggered version of MC5.
