Former WMBR DJ Elaine Kung sadly passed away in February, age 29(?). From Oct 2011 to June 2015 she was a DJ with former GM Elliot Avila on The Breakfast Of Champions (as "Elaine and Elliot"), and also did her own shows 'Not So Average Cabbage', 'Hi, How Are You?', 'Pourin' a Graphic' and 'Horny Harmonics'. I followed Elaine and Elliot a number of times on Mondays. Elaine was always very friendly, and this is still very hard to comprehend.
Canadian singer Marc Hamilton died of COVID-19 March 7th, at age 78. He was in the garage groups Les Shadols and Les Monstres, before he went solo in fall 1967.
