"FYP" Commentary - Mamie (MiMi) Neil Ford, of Roxbury, died at age 73. As a teen, she participated in Civil Rights movement/St. Augustine Motel "Swin-In" protest, where manager poured "acid" into the "segregated pool". A fellow protester pulled her out. Joined the march on Washington, at age 16. The pool incident and other civil rights movements cause LBJ and Congress to enact the Civil Rights Act of 1964./Unemployment highest level 9.5% , from April to June, in 70 years.
